Azerbaijan

We note with pleasure the progress achieved within the "Prague Process" during 2005 for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as two meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan held in Warsaw and Kazan, under the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. We believe that the parties have now reached the border of the transition from the stage of negotiations to decision-making, and there are real chances to achieve a solution acceptable to all parties. We call the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to use opportunities available for parties to the conflict and achieve significant progress in settlement of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
