Azerbaijan

We welcome the progress in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during the year 2004, as well as 3 meetings which took place through the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, we support so called “Prague Process", the meetings of the foreign ministers of both countries, creating an opportunity to consider all the parameters on the settlement of the conflict. Based on the results "Prague Process" we note that the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group have submitted proposals to both Presidents in Astana in September that may be the basis for the settlement of the conflict. We call the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to continue work on these proposals. At the same time, we will continue our efforts in double rate to convince the parties to the conflict convince them for the settlement.
